Message
from the President and Founder...
I
am not sure for how long we can continue down
this path of indifference, of doing little to
help each other; but I do know that is not
forever.
We cannot continue pretending that the
kindness and assistance we deny another, does
not affect our community and indirectly
affects us.
We could grow as individuals and as a
community once we decide that there are enough
resources for all of us.

It’s
time to encourage one another, to celebrate each
other’s success with admiration, not with envy;
let’s be generous with our smiles and advice,
instead of selfish; and let us not see competition,
but rather the opportunity to improve our products and
services. As
a community, let’s be united in spirit, body and
mind and see the potential in our youth and
immigrants, rather than lack of experience or
language. Let’s
stand by one another, for each one of us is an equally
important cell in our wonderful country (whether we've
been born here or have embraced it by choice); when we help
another reach success, our community flourishes.
This
is the whole foundation of Latin Business Club of
America (LBCA), an organization dedicated to support and
promote businesses within the Latin community and foster
understanding between Latinos and other Americans.
With a purchasing power expecting to reach $1
trillion by 2010,
the Hispanic market represents a tremendous potential
for businesses in the U.S.
We have painstakingly created a program that
will help you promote your business B2B and Business
to the Latin community.
Through our publication "LatinBiz," we cover topics
that are important to us and information that is
essential for our growth as successful professionals
and human beings.
Please
note that LBCA does not support separatist
organizations. We are American citizens with a strong
commitment to bring prosperity to our nation. Through the profiling of Latinos, in
Latinbiz, in a much deserved and highly earned
professional light, we aim to promote the advancement
of Latinos in the workforce and change any negative misunderstandings
other Americans might have about our ethnic
group.
Through
our networking events, we have simply returned
to our roots in conducting business in a more personal
and informal way that has always been our Latin
tradition. You
don't have to be Hispanic to join us, just have the
passion for Hispanic culture. What best
way to know us than to come to our next event? I look
forward to seeing you there.
In
unity,
Mónica Puig,
President, Latin Club of America, Inc. (Bio)
