LATIN BUSINESS CLUB OF AMERICA AND THE NATIONAL SOCIETY OF HISPANIC MBAS ANNOUNCE STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP.

MIAMI, FL – (February 2, 2005) – The Latin Business Club of America, a networking organization dedicated to promoting businesses within the Latin community and uniting Latinos in their business efforts, and The National Society of Hispanics MBAs (NSHMBA), an organization created to foster Hispanic leadership through graduate management education and professional development, have announced a strategic partnership to expand the networking opportunities between both organizations.

“Our organizations share the same commitment to providing opportunities to our Latin professionals in the workforce and a valuable vision of growth, education and advancement of Latinos in the United States,” commented Monica Puig, founder and President of the Latin Business Club.   “We are very pleased to have the opportunity to work with NSHMBA.   We strongly support their mission and would like to do our part in the development of more Hispanic leaders in our community.”

Under the agreement, NSHMBA and The Latin Business Club will cross-promote their organizations and activities.  The members will benefit from the expansion of networking opportunities.  Additionally, The Latin Business Club business magazine, “LatinBiz,” will be distributed at all NSHMBA’s events.  NSHMBA will have a column in the magazine promoting higher education and updated information about MBA opportunities for Hispanics.

“The strategic alliance with the Latin Business Club of America gives us a great opportunity to expand NSHMBA’s mission among Hispanic professionals and business owners in South Florida, and to create the awareness that our kids should stay in school, not only through high school but beyond to college and post-graduate degrees such as an MBA”, commented Edgar A. Ceballos, Executive Vice-President of NSHMBA-South Florida Chapter.
